What is your shipping policy?

Shipping is generally done via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, or methods the customer may request. Items that weigh over 50 lbs may incur additional freight charges above our Flat Rate Shipping. Certain hazardous items may have shipping restrictions and may require additional hazardous charges. UPS or FED EX may not accept these items and alternate shipping methods will be used. We will make every effort to minimize shipping charges. 

Shipping regulations are constantly changing but we will try to inform our customers as this occurs. We ship from various locations within the Continental US. We will attempt to ship from the warehouse nearest to the ordering customer. 

These terms only apply within the Continental US. Shipments to Canada may incur additional freight charges. We can ship on customer freight accounts. In these cases, all additional freight charges will be waived. 

Additionally, The Newlabx cannot ship chemicals to residential addresses, including home-based businesses as noted during checkout. This includes hazardous chemicals, non-hazardous chemicals and powdered culture media. To purchase these products, a business/commercial shipping address is required upon checkout. Be advised that we must ship chemicals to the business that has the intended use for such chemicals being ordered.

My item is broken or damaged. What do I do?

Any damages and exceptions must be noted on the bill of lading or delivery ticket. Capital equipment that has been damaged should be refused and left with the delivery company or carrier. The item must be inspected immediately for concealed damage. In the event of any such damage, the original shipping container must be saved for inspection. The Newlabx should be notified immediately of such damage. Failure to adhere to this policy will release Newlabx from any responsibility regarding replacement and/or credit.

If you have received damaged merchandise, please email a photo of the damaged item with submission of RMA form showing damage, item packaging, interior and exterior shipping box and a signed bill of lading for truck shipments or tracking number for small package. Please hold all damaged material for carrier inspection until further notice.
