1. Scope
This standard specifies the materials, tools, process preparation, process requirements, quality inspection and matters needing attention of bare crimping end process for conductorsof the hose crimping tool. This standard is applicable to the pressing of bare crimping end of conductor.
  2. Materials
    (a) The type of copper-core insulated conductor shall conform to the requirements of the design drawings.
    B) Bare crimping end is divided into UT type and OT type. The type and specification of bare crimping end selected should be matched with the connecting object.

    3. Tools Tools
    a) manual cold-pressed wiring pliers; b) die head; c) stripping pliers.

    4.Process preparation
    4.1 Pre-guided line as required.
4.2 Prepare the crimping end according to the wire cross-section area and overlap screw specifications.
4.3 Prepare the corresponding number of modules.
  3. Process
5.1 The length required for pressing connection is stripped of the conductor insulation, and the stripping length should be less than 2 mm for the bare part of the conductor on both sides of the pressing part after pressing connection.
5.2 Manual cold-pressed wiring pliers. When pressing, the welding seam of the pressing end should be directed against the die of the clamp, and the end should be pressed to the bottom once by force until the pressure limiting device operates automatically, the clamp handle will return and the wire will be taken out by itself.
5.3 For multi-strand soft braided bare copper conductors, OT type crimping end should be used at both ends and tin dipping at the crimping end.

    6. Process Requirements
6.1 The impression at the press joint should be basically symmetrical with the center line of the press end. A kind of
6.2. The impression depth is moderate, and the pressing joint is reliable and firm. 6.3 The conductive contact surface is smooth, smooth and non-destructive.

    7.Quality Inspection
    Inspection as required in Chapter.

    8. Notes
8.1 When using manual cold-pressing wiring pliers, they should be pressed to the bottom at one time, and can not be released halfway, so as not to affect the quality or damage the tools.
8.2 When pressing, die specifications should be compatible with pressing end and conductor cross section.
