説明

Charging Should Be Infrastructure, Not an Errand. A wallbox belongs to a building; the car does not. This charger treats the problem the other way round, packaging 7 kilowatts of Type 2 charging into a control box that travels with the vehicle, so the socket at a friend's house, a workshop, a holiday rental or a site office becomes a charging point instead of an obstacle. It draws from an ordinary AC supply anywhere between 80 and 260 volts, which is the practical definition of portability on an electrical system nobody designed for electric cars.

The output is adjustable across eight steps, from 8A to 32A, which matters more than the headline figure. A domestic circuit that will not safely carry 32 amps can run at 16, and a three phase commercial supply with capacity to spare can be pulled at full rate. Cable length is 5 metres, long enough to reach across a driveway or a parking bay without an extension lead, and a variant with a plug adapter is available for markets where the local socket does not accept the standard connector. The gun carries an IP66 rating while the control box is IP54, so rain and dust are accounted for rather than avoided, and the operating window runs from minus 30 to plus 50 degrees Celsius.

The construction choices are the ones that decide whether the unit is still in service after two winters. A TPU jacketed cable stays flexible in cold weather instead of stiffening and cracking, the enclosure is compact at 220 by 70 by 80mm and about 4 kilograms so it hangs from a hook or sits in the boot without taking the space of a spare wheel, and the listed compatibility covers the current generation of Chinese and European platforms driving the export market, including BYD Dolphin, BYD Tan, JAC E-JS, Kwid E-Tech, Bolt EV, XC40 Recharge, IX3, EQ1 and Caoa Chery Arrizo 5e.

Charge where the car is parked, not where the cable is.

Where a Portable Unit Wins

Company fleets are the most common buyer, because a charger that lives in the vehicle covers the day when an employee parks at a site with no charging infrastructure and simply asks to use the building supply. Holiday rental owners buy it as an amenity that reduces the guest complaint they cannot otherwise solve. Drivers of imported or less common EVs buy it for compatibility, since the adjustable current range lets the same unit work on a fragile domestic circuit and a three phase commercial supply. Workshops and plant yards use it to keep a service vehicle topped up from whatever socket is nearest. In every case the calculation is the same: the unit costs less than a fixed installation and covers roughly every location where a fixed installation has not been built yet.

EV Owner Questions

Q: Can I plug it into a normal household socket?

A: Yes, at a reduced current setting. A standard domestic circuit cannot sustain 32A, so set the charger to the current your circuit is rated for. Confirm the rating of the socket and the circuit before the first charge.

Q: How do I change the current?

A: Output is adjustable across eight steps from 8A to 32A from the control box. Set it before connecting the vehicle.

Q: Is it safe in the rain?

A: The charging gun is rated IP66 and the control box IP54, so normal rain and dust are within specification. Do not immerse the control box, and do not charge from a socket that is itself exposed to water.

Q: Which vehicles does it work with?

A: It is a Type 2 AC charger, listed as compatible with a wide range of current platforms including BYD Dolphin, BYD Tan, JAC E-JS, Kwid E-Tech, Bolt EV, XC40 Recharge, IX3 and EQ1. Tell us your model and market and we will confirm the connector before shipping.

Q: How long does a full charge take?

A: At the full 7kW the charging rate is typical for a portable Type 2 unit, and the exact time depends on the vehicle's onboard charger and the current setting you select. Charging at 16A takes roughly twice as long as at 32A.

Q: Does it need professional installation?

A: No. It is a portable unit that runs from an existing AC supply, which is the reason to buy it. A fixed wallbox still needs an electrician; this does not.

Q: What is included with the plug adapter variant?

A: The adapter variant adds a plug adapter for markets where the local socket does not accept the standard connector. Confirm which variant suits your region with our team before ordering.

The EastSupplier Promise

Every unit in this listing is inspected and packed by our own cross-border team in China before it leaves the warehouse. We hold the stock, we handle the export paperwork, and we answer technical questions directly rather than routing you through a marketplace resolution desk.

Orders ship with tracking, and quantities above ten units are quoted individually so that shipping and duties are confirmed before you pay. If you are buying for a workshop, a studio, a fleet, or a service bay, tell us what you need and we will confirm availability, lead time, and landed cost.

Flexible cable is the detail that matters

Charging at 7kW here on a three phase supply. The TPU jacket stays soft in cold weather where a cheaper cable went stiff. Do confirm your connector type with the seller first, which they were helpful about.

Saved a rental booking

Guests with EVs kept asking about charging. This lives in the boot and gets plugged into the utility socket, and it has worked on every car that has tried it so far. Rain has not been an issue at all.

Bought it for the 16A setting and it worked

The old house circuit will not take 32A so I run this at 16A overnight and it holds steady with no heat in the plug. Five metre cable reaches across my driveway. Control box is small enough to hang on a hook in the garage.
