Most kitchens end up with two water sources fighting for the same counter space: a main mixer for washing, and a filter jug or an undersink tap bolted on as an afterthought. This faucet removes the argument. It is a single-hole deck-mounted brass mixer that carries a dedicated second outlet for filtered drinking water alongside the main spout, so the sink keeps one clean silhouette and the filtered line stops being an accessory nobody wanted to drill for.

The body is solid brass with a ceramic plate spool valve, which is the part of a faucet that decides whether it still closes cleanly in year five. Finishes run through grey, chrome, brushed nickel, matte black and brushed gold, all with a brushed surface treatment that hides the fingerprints a polished finish collects. The spout is pull-down and rotates a full 360 degrees, with a dual-handle layout for separate hot and cold control and two outlet modes that switch between an aerated stream and a spray.

One hole in the countertop. Two waters. No filter jug on the bench.

Where It Fits

This is the faucet for a kitchen that has already decided filtered water matters but has not decided where to put it. Because the filtration outlet is integrated rather than added, the countertop keeps its line, and the sink cabinet below keeps one supply run instead of two. That matters in a small kitchen, and it matters more in a rental where every extra hole is a deposit at risk.

The pull-down spout with 360 degree rotation covers a full double sink without a separate sprayer, and the two-mode outlet handles both filling a pot and rinsing a plate. In a family kitchen the dual-handle layout is the practical choice: it lets you set temperature by feel while your other hand is busy, which is the one thing single-lever mixers do worse.

The brass construction with a ceramic spool valve is the reason this belongs in a kitchen you intend to keep rather than a flip. Ceramic plates do not corrode the way rubber washers do, so the drip that eventually appears on every cheap faucet is the failure mode this design avoids. Choose matte black or brushed nickel for a busy family kitchen, and brushed gold or chrome where the fixture is meant to read as part of the design.

Before You Buy

Q: Does the filtered outlet need a separate filter to work?

The faucet provides the dedicated drinking-water spout. You connect it to your own undersink filtration system, which is what allows you to choose the filtration standard you want rather than being locked into a proprietary cartridge.

Q: Will it fit my existing sink hole?

It is built for a single-hole deck mount, which is the standard in most modern kitchen sinks. Check that your sink has a free 35mm opening; if you are replacing a two-hole setup, a blanking cap covers the spare.

Q: Is the spout metal or plastic?

The body and the pull-down head are metal with a brushed finish. Only the internal hose is flexible, which is what allows the head to travel.

Q: Can I install it myself?

Yes, if you already have supply lines in place. Allow about an hour: the deck mount and the two supply connections are straightforward, and the filtered line simply runs to your existing filtration outlet underneath.

Q: Which finish holds up best in a hard-water area?

Brushed nickel and brushed gold hide mineral spotting better than chrome or matte black. In any finish, wiping the spout dry after the last use of the day does more for longevity than any cleaning product.

Q: Does the 360 degree rotation wear out the hose?

No. The rotation is handled by the joint rather than by twisting the hose, which is exactly why a rotating pull-down spout outlasts a fixed head attached to a separate sprayer.

Q: Is it suitable for hot water up to normal domestic temperature?

Yes. It is rated for both hot and cold domestic supply, and the ceramic spool valve is the component that tolerates temperature cycling without hardening the way rubber washers do.

Installed it myself in about an hour

Deck mount and the two supply lines were straightforward, and the filtered line ran to our existing undersink filter without any adapters. Take the time to check the hole size on your sink first. Matte black looks excellent and does show water marks.

The spool valve is why I would buy it again

Our last faucet started dripping in year two when the rubber washer hardened. The ceramic cartridge in this one closes cleanly with no drip after months. Pull-down head covers both sink bowls and the rotation has not loosened anything.

Two waters, one hole in the counter

We had a filter jug on the bench for years and it never looked right. This replaced the old mixer and gave us the filtered outlet in the same fixture. Brushed nickel hides water spotting in a hard water area, which is exactly why I chose it.
