Description

A battery is the one part of an RC build that decides whether a flight feels expensive. Voltage sag under throttle, a pack that puffs after twenty cycles, cells that drift apart between charges: the airframe gets blamed for all three, and the pack quietly retires early. This 3300mAh pack from YOWOO POWER is built around the duller discipline of consistency, with a 60C continuous discharge rating that keeps the voltage curve flat through the part of the flight where punch matters most.

The pack is offered across five cell configurations, from 2S at 7.4V nominal through 3S, 4S, 5S and 6S up to 22.2V, so the same cell chemistry and the same 3300mAh capacity can serve a trainer, a five-inch freestyle quad, a scale helicopter or a 1/8 scale buggy without changing the charging routine. Each pack ships with an XT60 connector soldered in place and 12 AWG silicone wire, which is heavier gauge than the loads this capacity actually demands. That is deliberate margin: the wire runs cool, the connector resists the heat cycling that eventually loosens cheap solder joints, and the whole assembly stays inside its rated envelope during aggressive throttle pulses.

Charging is where most of these packs die, so the numbers are worth reading twice. Suggested charge current runs from 0.1A to a 5A ceiling, and the pack is happiest around 1C at 3.3A. Storage voltage is the other habit that separates a two-year pack from a two-month pack: land at 3.8V to 3.95V per cell and the pack will hold its balance across a winter; leave it sitting at 4.20V and the internal resistance creeps up every week. Store it cool, store it at partial charge, and the next season starts with the same cells you bought.

A pack that never announces itself is doing its job. The flight gets the credit; the cells keep the record.

What Sets It Apart

  • 60C continuous discharge
At 3300mAh that translates to roughly 198A of sustained current headroom, well beyond what most 5 to 8 inch airframes pull in a burst.
  • Five cell counts on one platform
2S through 6S at 7.4V to 22.2V nominal, so a single purchase pattern covers trainer planes, FPV quads and surface vehicles.
  • 12 AWG silicone wire
Oversized conductor for the current class, which keeps heat and voltage droop out of the power path.
  • XT60 connector fitted
Pre-soldered and ready to plug into standard ESCs and parallel charge boards without an adapter chain.
  • Charge window 0.1A to 5A
Room to trickle at 0.3A for conditioning or push 5A when a race day needs packs back in the air quickly.
  • Storage-ready voltage guidance
Ships with a documented 4.20V to 3.95V charge state chart so packs can be parked at 75 percent for long storage.

Where It Belongs

This is the pack for the person who owns more than one machine. A 4S 3300mAh in a five-inch quad, a 3S in a park flyer, a 6S in a scale heli: the same footprint and the same connector across the fleet means one charger profile, one parallel board, one spare in the case. Surface users get the same benefit at 2S and 3S, where the current headroom runs a crawler or a short course truck through a full heat without the pack falling out of regulation. Race weekends, freestyle sessions, or a Saturday of backyard laps all come down to the same question, which is whether the pack still has something left at the end of the run. Sixty C at this capacity answers it.

Questions Buyers Ask Before Ordering

Q: Is the XT60 connector already soldered on?

Yes. Every variant in this listing ships with an XT60 connector fitted and 12 AWG wire, so the pack plugs directly into standard XT60 ESCs and parallel charging boards.

Q: Which cell count should I pick for a five-inch freestyle quad?

Most five-inch freestyle builds run 4S for longer cruise time or 6S for sharper throttle response and lower current draw at the same power. 3S suits lighter builds, trainers and 2.5 to 3 inch cruisers.

Q: Can I charge this pack at 5A every time?

The pack accepts up to 5A, but 1C at 3.3A is the healthier everyday rate. Reserve 5A for days when you need packs back in service quickly and accept the reduction in cycle life that comes with it.

Q: What voltage should it sit at during storage?

Between 3.80V and 3.95V per cell, which is roughly 50 to 75 percent charge on the pack chart. That is the range where cells hold balance and internal resistance stays low over a long off season.

Q: Does the capacity stay honest at 60C?

Continuous ratings are only useful if the cells hold up under load. A 3300mAh pack at 60C is rated for about 198A, which leaves real headroom for 5 to 8 inch airframes that pull 60A to 120A in bursts.

Q: Is this suitable for a beginner?

The pack itself is straightforward, but LiPo handling carries real risk. Charge on a fire resistant surface, never leave a charging pack unattended, and store at partial charge. The listing is intended for users aged 14 and above.

Good cells, plan your charging

Cells are solid and the capacity reads honest on a charger that logs mAh returned. Only note is that 5A charging warms the pack more than I expected, so I stick to 3.3A now and it stays cool.

6S 3300 in a scale heli

Bought the 6S for a 500 size heli and the 60C rating is doing real work on collective punches. Connector fits standard ESCs, wire is genuinely 12 AWG rather than the thin stuff some sellers ship. Storage guidance on the listing is accurate.

Holds voltage right to the end of the pack

Ran four 4S packs through a five inch quad for a month. Voltage sag under punch is noticeably lower than the packs I was using before, and all four still balance within 0.02V after every charge. The XT60 solder joints look factory, not hand done.
