the-portion-line-leakproof-deli-containers
The Portion Line | Leakproof Deli Containers, 8/16/32 oz Sets

Food service runs on consistency. A portion that looks the same on Tuesday as it did on Monday is not a small detail, it is the entire proposition of a prepared food business. The Portion Line exists for that discipline: a round deli container with a sealing lid that closes with one press, holds through a chilled delivery bag, and presents the contents clearly enough that the customer can see what they paid for before they open it.

Each container is moulded from food-grade BPA-free plastic rated for freezer, microwave and dishwasher use, which means the same unit travels from prep station to cold store to a customer microwave without changing form. The lid seats on a stepped rim rather than a flat edge, so pressure spreads across the full circumference instead of concentrating at one point. That single design decision is why the seal survives a tilted delivery bag when thinner containers weep at the corner.

The range is sold in three set sizes so buyers can match stock to throughput instead of over-ordering one format. The nine pack suits a small kitchen testing a new menu line, the fifteen pack covers a standard week of meal prep or a market stall, and the thirty pack is the working volume for a deli counter, a catering run, or a subscription meal operation that portions in batches.

Portion control is not about restraint. Independent meal prep kitchens use the 16 oz as their standard lunch portion and the 32 oz for family plans, sealing on Sunday and delivering through Wednesday. Deli and takeaway counters use the 8 oz for sides and sauces where a repeatable scoop matters more than volume. Catering operations and market stalls keep the 30 pack on the shelf because a single flat of containers covers a full service run, and the stack height in the van stays predictable. The same container then goes home with the customer and comes back into service as pantry storage rather than into a bin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are these containers genuinely leakproof for liquids?

The lid is designed for liquid service such as soup and sauce, provided it is pressed fully down around the entire rim until it clicks level. The container format is chosen separately from the pack size, so a 30 pack of 16 oz is thirty 16 oz containers with lids.
