説明

A Cinematic Image Is Not Measured in Pixels Alone. It Is Measured in Presence.

The Luminary does not simply project an image onto a wall. It constructs a window — 2200 ANSI lumens carving daylight into submission, native 4K resolution rendering film grain as the director intended, and an auto-focus mechanism that calibrates in seconds, not minutes. This is the projector that erases the distinction between "home theater" and "theater."

Beneath the lens sits a 5G WiFi module and Android TV operating system, transforming the projector into a self-contained streaming hub. Netflix, YouTube, and Plex run natively — no dongle, no external box, no HDMI cable snaking across the living room floor. The 2200 ANSI lumen output means this is not a projector that demands total darkness to produce a watchable image. At 120 inches in a room with ambient light, The Luminary delivers contrast that entry-level projectors lose once curtains are opened. For the cinephile who refuses to surrender daytime viewing, for the gamer who wants 100+ inches of Forza Horizon without input lag penalty, for the family that gathers around movie night without a 15-minute pre-show calibration ritual — The Luminary is the signal, not the noise.

A television shows you a picture. A projector shows you a world. This one shows you both.

Application Scenarios

The Luminary adapts to the room, not the other way around. Home theater enthusiasts deploy it in dedicated media rooms with 150-inch fixed-frame screens for a true cinema experience. Living room users benefit from the 2200 ANSI lumen output — evening viewing with curtains open remains crisp and watchable, a claim few projectors in this price bracket can make. Gaming setups leverage the HDMI 2.1 port''s low-latency mode for fast-paced titles on a 120-inch display, where a television of equivalent size would cost five figures and require a structural engineer. Outdoor movie nights take advantage of the auto-focus: set it on a table, point it at a portable screen or white wall, and within seconds the image is sharp. The 5G WiFi eliminates the cable tangle of traditional projector setups — stream directly from the device, no laptop or streaming stick required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I watch Netflix and YouTube directly on the projector?

A: Yes. The Luminary runs Android TV natively, which includes the Google Play Store. Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Plex, and Hulu are all available as native apps. You can also cast content from your phone via built-in Chromecast functionality.

Q: Is 2200 ANSI lumens bright enough for daytime use?

A: With curtains closed or partial light control, 2200 ANSI lumens produces a very watchable image at 100-120 inches. In fully sunlit rooms with direct window light, you will want to draw the curtains — no projector in this price range overcomes direct sunlight. For dedicated home theater rooms with light control, the brightness is more than sufficient for a 200-inch screen.

Q: What is the input lag for gaming?

A: In Game Mode with HDMI 2.1, input lag measures approximately 25-35ms at 4K/60Hz — competitive with mid-range gaming monitors. For casual and single-player gaming, this is imperceptible. Competitive esports players may notice the difference from a 1ms gaming monitor, but for the overwhelming majority of gaming use cases, The Luminary delivers a responsive experience on a screen size no monitor can match.

Q: How long does the LED light source last?

A: The LED light engine is rated for 50,000+ hours of operation. At 4 hours of daily use, that is approximately 34 years of service life. Unlike traditional lamp-based projectors, there is no bulb to replace — the LED module is sealed and non-user-serviceable, but its lifespan effectively matches the useful life of the product.

Q: Does it support 3D content?

A: The Luminary supports frame-sequential 3D playback with active shutter glasses (sold separately). Compatible 3D formats include side-by-side, top-and-bottom, and frame-packing. 3D content can be played from USB, HDMI sources, or streaming apps that support 3D output.

Almost perfect — one HDMI port limitation

Image quality is excellent for the price. Colors are vibrant, the auto-keystone actually works (unlike my previous projector which always needed manual tweaking), and the LED light source means no bulb replacement anxiety. My one complaint: there is only one HDMI 2.1 port. If you want to connect both a gaming console and a streaming device, you will need an HDMI switch. The Android TV mitigates this somewhat since most streaming is built-in, but it is worth knowing before you buy.

Gaming on 120 inches is transformative

Bought this primarily for gaming — Forza Horizon 5 at 120 inches on the wall is an entirely different experience from a gaming monitor. Game Mode keeps input lag low enough that I do not notice it in racing games. The HDR10 is decent, not OLED-level obviously, but on a projector at this price it is impressive. The built-in speakers are adequate for casual use but pair it with a soundbar for the full experience. Set up took 10 minutes from unboxing to watching.

Cinema night, every night

We replaced our 65-inch TV with this projector and a 120-inch fixed-frame screen, and the family has not turned the TV on since. The auto-focus locks in about 3 seconds — my husband used to spend 10 minutes manually adjusting our old projector. The Android TV interface means we stream Netflix directly without any external box. At 2200 ANSI lumens, we can watch with a lamp on in the corner and the image is still perfectly watchable. Best electronics purchase we have made this year.
