説明

Light is the original special effect. Before CGI, before projection mapping, before LED walls — a single well-placed lamp with the right color and angle could transform an empty warehouse into a cathedral, a modest stage into an arena. The Chroma Engine honors that tradition while equipping you with technology that a 1990s lighting designer would have traded a kidney for: 200 watts of RGBW output with independent control over every channel, plus a starburst diffraction effect that turns a point source into a constellation.

The "4-IN-1" designation is not marketing fluff — each LED die integrates Red, Green, Blue, and White emitters on a single chip, eliminating the color fringing and alignment artifacts that plague multi-chip arrays. When you call for amber at 30% intensity, you get uniform amber across the entire beam, not a patchwork of red and green hotspots. The white channel is dedicated, not synthesized from RGB — meaning your whites are actually white, not magenta-tinted approximations. For theater designers, wedding planners, and event producers, this distinction is the difference between professional and amateur.

The starburst effect lens is a diffraction grating that splits the beam into radial rays — turning a single fixture into what reads as a 12-point star across ceiling, walls, and floor. In a dark venue with haze, it transforms an empty room into an immersive light installation. Combined with DMX512 control, master-slave linking, and sound-active auto modes, the Chroma Engine is as comfortable running a hands-off wedding dance floor as it is executing a 128-channel theater cue stack.

Light does not just illuminate space. It defines it.

Key Features

  • 200W RGBW 4-in-1 COB LED — Single-chip color integration eliminates multi-source fringing. Dedicated white channel for true white output.
  • Starburst Diffraction Lens — Patented radial grating turns a single beam into a 12-point star pattern. Dramatic ceiling and wall coverage from one fixture.
  • DMX512 Compatible — Standard 3-pin XLR input/output for integration with professional lighting consoles and software.
  • Multiple Control Modes — DMX, Master/Slave, Sound-Active, Auto-Program, and Static Color. Works with or without a console.
  • Adjustable Strobe & Dimming — 0-100% linear dimmer plus variable-speed strobe for dynamic effects programming.
  • Convection + Fan Cooling — Silent enough for theater, powerful enough for all-night club use.

Application Scenarios

Wedding receptions where the first dance deserves a canopy of stars above the couple. Mobile DJ rigs that need one fixture to wash an entire dance floor in saturated color. Theater productions requiring precise DMX integration with existing rigs. Bar and club installations where sound-active mode handles the programming automatically. The Chroma Engine bridges the gap between the $50 Amazon wash light that looks like a toy and the $800 professional fixture — delivering 200W of quality output with features pros expect, at a price point that does not require a production company budget.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can this fixture run without a DMX controller?

A: Yes — it has built-in auto programs, sound-active mode (responds to music via internal microphone), and static color presets. You can set up a complete lighting scene without ever touching a DMX console.

Q: How does the starburst effect work?

A: A diffraction grating lens sits in front of the LED array, splitting the beam into radial rays. It is a physical optical effect, not a digital filter — the star pattern is generated by the light interacting with the grating, creating sharp, clean rays rather than a soft glow.

Q: Is the fan noise noticeable during quiet moments?

A: The cooling system uses temperature-controlled fan speed. At low output levels, the fan runs at minimum RPM — in a typical event environment with ambient music, it is inaudible. For theater applications requiring absolute silence, the fixture can be positioned further from the audience.

Q: Can the white channel mix with the RGB channels?

A: Yes — all four channels (R, G, B, W) are independently controllable via DMX or the onboard menu. The dedicated white LED allows you to create pastels, warm whites, and high-CRI illumination that RGB-only fixtures cannot achieve.

Q: How many fixtures can I link in master/slave mode?

A: There is no hard limit on master/slave linking via DMX cabling — the master fixture sends its program signal down the chain. For large installations with dozens of fixtures, a DMX console or software controller is recommended for individual addressing.

Great light, fan is audible in quiet rooms

The color mixing and brightness are excellent for the price point. The 4-in-1 COB LED eliminates the color shadows you get with multi-chip arrays. The only reason for 4 stars: the cooling fan is noticeable in a quiet theater setting. For loud events it's irrelevant, but if you need absolute silence, plan placement accordingly.

Perfect for wedding uplighting

Used four of these for a wedding reception and the venue owner asked for my lighting contact. The warm white at 30% created an elegant amber wash; the starburst mode during the first dance got literal gasps. Sound active mode handled the reception without any programming — just set and forget.

This starburst effect is crazy on video

I do mobile DJ gigs and this light transformed my setup. The starburst lens covers the entire ceiling of a small venue by itself — clients think I have a multi-fixture rig. DMX integration with my controller was smooth. The dedicated white channel is what separates this from cheaper RGB-only washes. Real, clean white light.
