説明

Every pipe tells the truth about how it was finished. The Burnish Line exists to make that truth a mirror. A 1000 W pipe and tube belt sander built around a 40 x 760 mm belt, it is the tool that takes a shop-worn rail from rusted and pitted to brushed and bright without ever leaving the workpiece.

The housing is machined from aluminium alloy for rust, corrosion, and scratch resistance, and its integrated frame holds the belt taut under load so it will not slip when you lean into a weld seam. Six constant-speed settings span 1100 to 3200 rpm, letting you move from aggressive rust removal to fine finishing in a single pass. The belt set covers five grits: zirconia alumina in 60 and 80 for cutting, and brown aluminium oxide in 180, 400, and 800 for polishing.

Weighing 6.9 kg and measuring 300 x 78 x 113 mm, the machine is compact enough to guide with one hand and balanced enough to run along a length of stainless for minutes at a time. Setup follows four steps, seat the adapter, lock the drive wheel, tension with the hole wrench, then mount the belt and handle, and after that it is simply a matter of pressure and patience. Round pipe, stainless, iron, aluminium, plastic, and wood are all on the menu.

Rust is not a verdict. It is a surface, and surfaces can be rewritten.

What the Belt Restores

  • ✦ 1000 W motor drives a 40 x 760 mm belt for continuous, even material removal.
  • ✦ Six constant-speed levels from 1100 to 3200 rpm cover rust removal through mirror polishing.
  • ✦ Aluminium alloy body resists rust, corrosion, and scratches for shop-floor durability.
  • ✦ Integrated frame keeps the belt taut and slip-free even under heavy pressure.
  • ✦ Five-grit belt set: zirconia 60/80 and aluminium oxide 180/400/800 for coarse to fine work.
  • ✦ Works on round pipes, stainless steel, iron, aluminium, plastic, and wood.
  • ✦ Four-step setup gets the machine running in minutes.

In the Shop

In a fabrication shop it runs the length of a handrail to strip surface rust before powder coating. In a beverage plant it restores the brushed finish on stainless process tubing. For a custom exhaust builder, it blends weld seams into an invisible line. Wherever a round surface needs to move from rough to refined, grinding, polishing, brushing, or chasing a mirror finish, the machine turns a slow hand job into a steady, repeatable pass.

Fabricator Questions

Q: What materials can it sand?

A: Round pipes and tubing, stainless steel, iron, aluminium, plastics, and wood.

Q: Can it remove rust and weld discoloration?

A: Yes, with the coarse 60 and 80 grit belts it removes rust and mill scale, while finer grits polish and blend.

Q: Does it polish to a mirror finish?

A: With the 400 and 800 grit belts it produces a brushed to near-mirror finish on metal.

Q: How many speeds does it have?

A: Six constant-speed levels, adjustable from 1100 to 3200 rpm.

Q: How long does setup take?

A: The four-step process, seat the adapter, secure the drive wheel, tension with the hole wrench, mount belt and handle, is completed in minutes.

Q: What belt size does it use?

A: 40 x 760 mm (1.5 x 30 in) belts.

Q: Is it portable?

A: At 6.9 kg with a compact 300 x 78 x 113 mm body, one operator can carry and control it along workpieces.

Q: Does it come with sanding belts?

A: Yes. Depending on the variant selected it ships with 2, 50, or 100 sanding belts covering the five grits, so you can start work straight out of the box.

Q: Can it be used on flat surfaces too?

A: It is optimised for round and curved work such as pipes, tubes, and rails; for large flat panels a standard belt sander is a better match.

Q: How is the belt changed?

A: The belt is fitted by seating the adapter, securing the drive wheel, tensioning with the hole wrench, then wrapping the belt and attaching the handle.

Powerful, so treat it as a two-hand tool

At 1000 W and about 6.9 kg it wants both hands on longer runs, which is normal for this class. On short sections of stainless tube it is superb and the aluminum body feels solid. Belts fitted in minutes following the four steps.

Belt grips under pressure

The integrated frame is the reason this works. On my old sander the belt would slip the moment I pressed hard; this one holds. Six constant speeds let me go from cutting weld colour to a fine polish without changing machines.

Turned a rusted handrail into a mirror

Ran it along forty feet of shop handrail before powder coating. The 60 grit belt stripped the surface rust quickly and a pass with the 400 grit left a brushed finish I was happy to show the client. The frame keeps the belt taut even when you lean in.
