December does not simply arrive. It is built, branch by branch, in the six weeks before it. Anyone who has styled a room for the holidays learns the same lesson: the tree itself is rarely what people remember. What they remember is the punctuation hanging from it, the small repeated objects that give the whole silhouette a rhythm. A tree with thirty cheap spheres reads as decoration. A tree with twelve deliberate ones reads as intent.
The Solstice Set is built around that distinction. Each bauble is a 6cm sphere in painted PVC, moulded light enough to sit on the tips of a branch without dragging it down, and dense enough that it catches a room's light instead of swallowing it. The diameter is uniform across every colourway, which matters more than it sounds: mixed sizes create visual noise at close range, while a consistent 6cm caliber lets you build depth through colour alone. Eight hand-painted styles ship as a single colour story, packed in boxes of six, twelve, or twenty-four pieces, with the box itself sized at 18 x 12 x 6cm so four boxes stack into one garage shelf.
Nothing here is glass. That single decision changes how the set lives in a house: it survives a knocked branch, a moved ladder, a child's reach, and the annual ritual of taking everything down in January and putting it back up eleven months later. The painted finish is sealed rather than sprayed thin, so the colour stays where it was applied instead of dusting off onto your hands the first time you handle a piece. Hang them once. Hang them again next year. The set does not age out of the room.
An ornament is not a decoration. It is the beat the eye follows around the tree.
Why This Set Composes

Where It Belongs
Interior stylists use the set as a colour control rather than a volume purchase: six pieces per metre of tree, three colourways per tree, and the room resolves itself. Hotel lobbies and retail windows buy the 24-piece boxes because a display tree is read from three metres away, where consistency matters more than quantity. Photographers keep a box on the shelf because painted PVC reads accurately under both tungsten and daylight, and nothing shatters on the floor of a rented studio.
Questions From Buyers
How many pieces does a standard 1.8m tree need?
Plan on 60 to 80 pieces for a dense, fully covered 1.8m tree. Order the 24-piece boxes in two or three colourways and you are within that range without over-buying.
Are these glass or plastic?
Painted PVC. They are not glass and they will not shatter, which is why they can be packed away loosely and handled by anyone in the household.
Can I hang them outdoors?
They handle a covered porch or a sheltered window, but prolonged direct rain and UV will dull the painted finish. For exposed outdoor use, we suggest indoor placement.
Will the colours match if I order separate boxes later?
The eight styles are produced to one colour standard, so a later box of the same style matches. Mixing styles is intended; mixing batches is not a risk.
Do the baubles arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Each piece is a finished hanging pendant with its hanger in place. You add the branch, nothing else.
How should they be stored?
Dry, in the original 18 x 12 x 6cm box, away from direct sun. The boxes stack four-deep, and dry storage is the only thing the finish asks of you.
The EastSupplier Promise
We buy the way a workshop buys: one supplier, one standard, no surprises at the port. Every listing is inspected before it is packed, documented in English, and shipped with a real person on the other end of the message. If a piece arrives wrong, damaged, or simply not as described, we replace it or refund it. You are not buying a lottery ticket with a tracking number.
