説明

There is a sound a good keyboard makes that has nothing to do with volume. It is the sound of a case that is not fighting itself, of a plate suspended on rubber rather than bolted to a sheet of aluminium. Once you have typed on it, everything else feels like tapping on a table.

The F75 gets there through a gasket mount, which floats the plate between the top and bottom case on flexible strips instead of screwing it down. The result is a softer bottom-out, less resonance in the case, and a typing feel that absorbs the small impact of every keystroke. It is the single biggest difference between a keyboard that sounds expensive and one that only looks it.

The layout is 75 per cent, which is the practical compromise: arrow keys and a function row stay, the numpad and the gaps go. On a desk that also holds a mouse mat, a monitor and a notebook, that recovered width matters more than a numpad most people touch twice a week. Keycaps are PBT in OEM profile, so the legends do not shine up after six months of typing the way ABS does.

Hot-swap sockets mean the switches are not a lifetime decision. The board supports three-pin and five-pin switches, so the LEOBOG Reaper or Graywood it ships with can become something lighter, heavier, clickier or silent without a soldering iron. Connection is tri-mode: Bluetooth for the tablet, 2.4G for the desktop, USB-C when the battery is low or latency matters. The 4000mAh cell is large for this class of board, which is what makes the wireless modes practical rather than occasional.

RGB is there for people who want it, underneath PBT caps that are not trying to be a light show. On a white desk the Sea Salt Blue and Glacier Blue variants read as furniture; the Thunder Black and Cedar Green treatments disappear into a dark setup instead.

A keyboard is the one tool you touch more than any other. It should feel like it.

Key Features

  • Gasket-mounted plate. Suspended on flexible strips rather than screwed down, for a softer bottom-out and a cleaner sound.
  • 75 per cent layout. Arrow keys and function row retained, numpad and dead space removed.
  • Hot-swap sockets. Three and five-pin compatible, so switches change without soldering.
  • Tri-mode connection. Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless, and USB-C wired with automatic switching.
  • 4000mAh battery. Wireless modes that last weeks rather than hours, with RGB off.
  • PBT OEM profile keycaps. Legends that resist shining and a familiar sculpted height.
  • LEOBOG and TTC switch options. Reaper or Graywood linear, or TTC Crescent, selected at checkout.

Where It Belongs

It suits a desk where space is contested: a laptop docked to a monitor, a small apartment work surface, or a gaming setup where the mouse needs room to travel. Writers and developers tend to choose the linear options for long sessions, while shared offices benefit from the quieter gasket acoustics. Tri-mode matters most for people who move between a work laptop, a personal desktop and a tablet in the same day, since the board can follow them without re-pairing cables.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does gasket mount actually change?

A: The plate holding the switches floats on flexible strips instead of being screwed to the case. That removes the hard contact point under each keystroke, softening the bottom-out and reducing case resonance, which is why the board sounds deeper and less hollow.

Q: Can I change the switches later?

A: Yes. The sockets are hot-swap and accept three and five-pin switches, so no soldering is involved. Pull the keycap, pull the switch, seat the replacement.

Q: How long does the battery last?

A: With RGB off you should see several weeks of normal working use. With RGB at full brightness expect roughly a week. Charging is over USB-C.

Q: Does it work with a Mac?

A: Yes, in Bluetooth and wired modes. macOS media keys work, and the optional software provides remapping where you need it.

Q: Is it loud enough to annoy an office?

A: The gasket structure and PBT caps produce a low, thocky sound rather than a sharp click, especially with the linear LEOBOG options. It is noticeably quieter than a classic clicky board.

Q: What is the difference between the switch options?

A: Graywood is a slightly heavier linear, Reaper is a lighter, faster linear, and TTC Crescent sits between the two with a smoother factory lube. All three are linear, so none of them click.

75 percent takes a week

Coming from a full size I kept reaching for a numpad that is not there. After a week the extra mouse room made it worth it. Keycaps are PBT and show no shine yet after two months.

Swapped switches on day two

Pulled the LEOBOG linears and fitted something heavier without a soldering iron. Hot-swap sockets are the feature I will not buy a keyboard without again. Battery has lasted a month of eight hour days with the lighting off.

Sounds expensive, does not click

The gasket mount is not a gimmick. My old board had a hollow ring to every keypress and this one is low and soft instead. Colleagues have stopped noticing me typing during calls, which is the real review.
