説明

Light, Focused Correctly, Becomes a Cutting Tool. There is nothing exotic about a 450 nanometre diode. What separates a hobby head from a production module is how the beam is shaped, how the heat leaves the housing, and whether the machine can still hold focus through a twenty minute cut. The K30 answers all three. Six 5.5 watt diodes are compressed into one beam that delivers a genuine 28 to 32 watts of optical output, and the air assist airway is built into the housing so smoke is pushed clear of the kerf instead of being allowed to scatter the beam.

The numbers that matter are written on the material, not on the carton. A single pass through 15mm basswood plywood at 180mm per minute. A single pass through 15mm black acrylic at 35mm per minute. Twenty millimetre pine at 120mm per minute, and 9mm MDF in two passes at 300mm per minute. Against a 10 watt module the engraving speed rises roughly threefold, which is the difference between losing an evening to test cuts and finishing a set of parts in an afternoon.

Protection is designed in rather than sold as an extra. A working temperature readout sits on the module itself and a buzzer sounds once the internal temperature passes 55 degrees Celsius, so a stalled airflow or a fouled lens announces itself before the diode pays for the lesson. The anti-blue-light window uses optical glass to keep the operator's eyes out of the beam path, the copper core lens lifts out for cleaning, and a red crosshair projects the working frame so second-pass alignment no longer depends on tape marks.

Buy the head that finishes the part while the material is still clamped flat.

Module Architecture

  • ✦Beam compression combines six 5.5W diodes into a 28 to 32 watt optical output
  • ✦Air assist airway integrated into the housing for clean kerf edges
  • ✦Dual fan cooling with a working temperature display on the module
  • ✦Buzzer alarm above 55 degrees Celsius internal temperature
  • ✦Red crosshair locating for repeatable second-pass alignment
  • ✦Copper core protection lens, removable for cleaning and replacement
  • ✦Adapter board and multi-hole sliding plate for cross-machine mounting, plus an anti-blue-light optical window

Who Buys a 30 Watt Head

This is the module for the workshop that has outgrown its first laser. Sign makers use the 30W head to cut acrylic letters and plywood shapes in one pass instead of three, which changes how a job is priced. Furniture and cabinet shops use it for engraved panels and inlay work where smoke staining is unacceptable, which is what the built-in air assist is for. Educators and makerspace operators choose it because the temperature alarm and the anti-blue-light window reduce the supervision burden of a shared machine. Small production runs of leather goods, gaskets and jigs benefit from the repeatability of the crosshair locating. If your work is engraving only, the 5W and 10W modules in this range cost less and cut finer detail; the 20W and 30W heads are for people who need to separate material rather than mark it.

Before You Cut

Q: Which power should I choose?

A: 5W suits engraving, paper, leather and thin veneer. 10W covers routine wood engraving and light cutting. 20W and 30W are the cutting modules, and the 30W is the one to take if 15mm plywood in a single pass is what your work requires.

Q: Does the K30 include the air compressor?

A: The airway and nozzle are built into the module and are included. The compressor is a separate item, since most workshops already run one. Tell us your setup and we will confirm what to add.

Q: Will it mount on my machine?

A: The K30 ships with an adapter board for electrical compatibility and a multi-hole sliding plate for mechanical mounting, and fits the common DIY gantry frames. Send us your frame model and we will confirm before shipping.

Q: What is different about the 24V kit?

A: The kits differ in supply voltage. Match the kit to your machine's power rail. Running a 12V module on 24V will damage the driver board, and it is not covered by warranty.

Q: What does the temperature alarm protect?

A: The buzzer sounds once the internal temperature passes 55 degrees Celsius. Ignoring it accelerates diode degradation, so treat the alarm as a stop signal and check airflow and lens condition before resuming.

Q: Is a lens included?

A: Yes, the copper core protection lens is fitted. Keep it free of fingerprints and dust, because both reduce output power and can permanently damage the lens surface.

Q: Can one module serve two machines?

A: Yes, provided the mounting plate and the supply voltage match on both. Moving a single module between two frames is usually cheaper than buying a second head.

The EastSupplier Promise

Every unit in this listing is inspected and packed by our own cross-border team in China before it leaves the warehouse. We hold the stock, we handle the export paperwork, and we answer technical questions directly rather than routing you through a marketplace resolution desk.

Orders ship with tracking, and quantities above ten units are quoted individually so that shipping and duties are confirmed before you pay. If you are buying for a workshop, a studio, a fleet, or a service bay, tell us what you need and we will confirm availability, lead time, and landed cost.

Strong head, check your power rail first

Mounting plate lined up with my frame without drilling and the adapter board made the wiring simple. Do check whether your machine is 12V or 24V before ordering, because the kits are not interchangeable and I nearly ordered the wrong one.

Temperature alarm already earned its keep

The buzzer went off twenty minutes into a long acrylic job when my air line kinked. Cleaned the lens, restarted, no damage. On my old head that would have cost a diode. Crosshair locating also makes second pass alignment much easier.

Cuts 15mm plywood in one pass, confirmed

Replaced a 10W module with the K30 on an entry level gantry frame and it cut 15mm plywood in a single pass at the recommended feed. Air assist built into the head made a bigger difference to edge quality than I expected.
