Descrizione

A feeding trough is a contract between you and the creatures that depend on you. The Landing honors that contract with thickened plastic walls that shrug off pecking, bumping, and the weather — a feeder that stays upright in the yard, on the balcony, or in the coop, season after season.

The raised edges keep feed exactly where it belongs, reducing waste and keeping the surrounding ground clean. At 20 cm it suits chicks and small cages; at 40 cm it feeds a full flock of pigeons or chickens without constant refills. The blue food-grade plastic is easy to rinse, safe for daily use, and resistant to cracking in sun and frost.

Non-automatic by design, the trough lets you control portions precisely — no clogging mechanisms, no springs, no parts to fail. You pour, the birds eat, you rinse. For breeders, homesteaders, and backyard flocks alike, it is the quiet infrastructure of a healthy coop.

This is not a bowl. It is the promise of a full morning.

Where It Shines

The Landing works wherever animals gather to eat: backyard coops, pigeon lofts, aviary floors, balcony bird stations, and rescue centers. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the plastic safe for animals?

A: Yes — the trough is made from food-grade plastic that is non-toxic and safe for daily feeding.

Q: Which size should I choose?

A: Choose 20 cm for chicks, small cages, or single birds; choose 40 cm for pigeons, chickens, or larger flocks that need less frequent refilling.

Q: Can it be left outside?

A: Yes. The thickened plastic resists UV, frost, and rain, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use.

Q: Is it automatic?

A: No — it is a non-automatic trough. You pour feed manually, which gives you full control over portions and makes cleaning simple.

Q: How do I clean it?

A: Rinse with water and a mild detergent. The smooth plastic surface does not trap residue, so sanitizing takes seconds.

Q: Will it tip over easily?

A: The wide base and low profile make it stable on flat surfaces, and the raised edges prevent feed from being knocked out by feeding birds.

Q: Can I use it indoors as well as outdoors?

A: Yes — the durable plastic is equally at home on a balcony, in a garden, or inside a coop or aviary. Just keep it on a stable, level surface.

Q: Does it hold both seeds and pellets?

A: Absolutely. The open trough design accommodates mixed grains, seeds, pellets, and even kitchen scraps for chickens.

Q: Is the blue color safe and stable?

A: The blue pigment is integrated into the food-grade plastic, so it will not fade quickly or leach into feed.

Q: How many birds can it serve?

A: The 40 cm version comfortably serves a dozen or more pigeons or chickens at once; the 20 cm version suits small groups and chicks.

Q: Does it work for water or dry feed?

A: It is designed for dry feed — grains, seeds, pellets, and chick crumb. For water, use a dedicated drinker to keep the trough clean and dry.

Q: Is it safe for baby chicks?

A: Yes — the low-profile 20 cm version is ideal for chicks, with edges low enough for them to reach comfortably without climbing in.

Q: Can I stack or store it compactly?

A: The troughs nest inside one another for compact storage when not in use, and they stack easily in a shed or feed room.

Q: What is the approximate capacity?

A: The 40 cm trough holds roughly 1-1.5 kg of grain depending on feed type, while the 20 cm holds about half that — enough for a small flock's daily ration.

Exactly what the coop needed

We have about fifteen chickens and the 40cm trough handles them all without constant refills. It does not tip over even with the bigger birds leaning on it. Simple, durable, does the job.

Solid and easy to clean

Good quality plastic, feels thicker than the cheap feeders I have tried before. The 20cm one works well for our chicks. Only reason for 4 stars is the blue color is a bit bright for my garden, but that is a minor thing.

Sturdy trough the birds actually use

Bought the 40cm size for our pigeon loft and the birds took to it immediately. The raised edges really do keep the grain from getting kicked everywhere, and the thickened plastic has held up through weeks of outdoor use without cracking. Rinses clean in seconds.
