The A-line means the waist measurement is generous by design, so choose your size on the bust. If you plan to belt it and want a defined waist, your usual size is correct; if you want it to hang loose as a cover-up, one size up adds room without changing the shoulder line much.

The placket sits on an A-line body rather than a fitted one, so there is no tension across the bust. If you are between sizes and full-busted, size up for comfort.
