On the Bench, a Key Job Is Won or Lost Before the Vehicle Ever Arrives. Immobiliser work rewards preparation, and preparation is exactly what a dedicated test platform gives you. The Keyline GT112 is the bench fixture that turns key matching from a live gamble into a controlled, repeatable procedure.

It is a K-Line test platform cable engineered for second and third generation VW, Skoda, and Seat dashboard immobiliser systems. Rather than probing a dashboard in situ - where the vehicle, the customer, and the clock are all watching - you bring the cluster to the bench, connect through the K-Line interface, and work the IMMO logic in a clean, low-risk environment. If something is going to be learned the hard way, this is the place for it to happen.

The construction is deliberately plain: a 15 x 11 x 4.2 cm housing weighing just 200 grams, no battery to charge, no wireless handshake to drop mid-procedure. It is a wired, deterministic interface, and for immobiliser work that determinism is the feature. Nothing interrupts the sequence, nothing times out, and nothing introduces a variable you did not choose.

For a locksmith or automotive electrician who already does key work, this is the small piece of test kit that de-risks the jobs that carry the most reputational weight. It is inexpensive next to the cost of a single failed key job done the improvised way.

It is worth being precise about what this cable is and is not. It is not a magic programmer that will produce keys out of thin air. It is a connection platform - the honest, specialist tool that gets your existing equipment talking to the dashboard cluster cleanly over K-Line, so that the tools you already own can do their job without fighting an unstable interface. Buy it because your procedure deserves a proper connector, not because it promises shortcuts that do not exist.

Preparation is not overhead. It is the job.

Where It Belongs

Built for automotive locksmiths, key programmers, and auto-electricians who already handle immobiliser work and want to move it to a controlled bench environment. It suits a workshop that keeps a spare dashboard cluster on the shelf for training and procedure development, and a mobile locksmith who would rather validate a routine before performing it on a customer's vehicle. If key matching forms any part of your service offering, this is the inexpensive piece of kit that protects the expensive part - your reputation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which vehicles does this cable cover?

It is designed for second and third generation VW, Skoda, and Seat dashboard immobiliser systems, working over the K-Line interface.

Q: Do I need a battery or wireless connection?

No. It is a fully wired K-Line test platform. There is no battery to charge and no wireless link to drop, which keeps immobiliser procedures deterministic from start to finish.

Q: What is the point of a bench test platform?

It lets you work on a dashboard cluster away from the vehicle, so key matching and IMMO procedures can be developed, tested, and rehearsed without risk to a customer's car or dashboard.

Q: How big and heavy is it?

The housing measures 15 x 11 x 4.2 cm and weighs 200 grams, so it stores easily in a key kit or tool case.

Q: Which regional version do I need?

Pick the variant matching your market - United States, United Kingdom, Germany, or Czech Republic - so the supplied configuration matches your region.

Q: Is it a genuine GODIAG product?

Yes. It is a genuine GODIAG GT112 K-Line cable, CE certified.

Q: Does it work on newer MQB platforms?

It is specified for second and third generation dashboard immobiliser systems. Vehicles that moved to later architectures may require a different interface, so check your platform generation before ordering.

Does its job on 2nd and 3rd gen clusters

Straightforward K-Line test platform, well made, no battery to worry about. Used it on VW and Seat clusters for key matching prep. Check your platform generation first as it is aimed at the 2nd and 3rd gen systems, not the newest architectures.

Exactly the bench connector I needed

For dashboard IMMO work this is the right tool. Lets me work on a spare cluster on the bench instead of poking around a customer's dash under time pressure. Wired connection means nothing drops mid-procedure. Small, light, goes straight in the key kit.
