ᅠ
In terms of f-thtea lens selection, if your fiber lasers isᅠabove 100 watts,ᅠquartz field mirrors must be used, because K9 material field mirrors will produce thermal lens effects when they work for a long time.
How Can I Check If This F-theta Lens Would Be Suitable for My Marking Machine?
First, you need to check your galvo head thread diameter. Our thread is M85, as shown in the picture below, and the installation diameter is 85mm.
If you measure your galvo head or f-theta lens and find it to be 79mm, you will need an
adapter ring.
Second, select a suitable size. The field size of the f-theta lens is related to the height of the column lift. For example, for a 300x300 scan field f-theta lens, the focal length is 420mm, and the back working length is 467mm. Then add the height of the f-theta lens and galvo head, and the column lift always needs to be 600mm. If your column lift is 500mm, then the 300x300 lens is not suitable for your machine.
Size Suggestion of F-theta Lens Scan Field
If your marking machine power is between 20W to 30W, we recommend a field size of 50mm to 220mm. This is because the smaller the format, the clearer the engraving. The longer the focal length of the large-format field lens, the higher the loss of the laser in the air, the weaker the laser, and the unclear printing effect. If you want a 300x300mm field f-theta lens, it is best to have a machine power of over 50W. For machines above 50W, we also recommend using quartz material lenses that have a longer usage life.
If you want to engrave rings and cups using a rotary attachment, we recommend using a 50x50mm or 70x70mm field f-theta lens.
