Frequently asked questions:

*1. What should I do if there is no signal, black screen, or image on the screen after connecting the rear view camera?

A) Please check your signal format (AHD/CVBS) and select the correct signal to run the camera.

B) Please check your connection, the red trigger wire should be connected to your reversing light and monitor the reversing input cable.

C) If your monitor has AUX-IN function, it can be connected to AUX-IN.

Tip: CVBS cameras can be tested for performance on television. Universal cameras with 4-pin plugs can only be installed using our cables. If you encounter any problems during the installation process, you can consult customer service.

*2. After connecting the rearview camera, the screen will display black and white. What if there is no color?

A) Choosing the wrong camera system (such as PAL/NTSC) can cause the screen to appear black and white. Please select the correct system to run the camera and restart the camera power. The CVBS camera is in the NTSC system, while the AHD1080P camera is in the PAL system.

B) Please check if the 6M cable is working properly and replace it with another 6M cable to test the camera.

*3. What functions are controlled by the three cables of the rear view camera?

Green cable: video signal control

AHD-CVBS720P camera: Default (AHD)+(1280x720)+(170 °)

Cut the green cable → (CVBS)+(1280x720)+(170 °)

AHD1080P camera: Default (AHD1080P)+(1920x1080)+(175 °)

Cut the green cable → (CVBS)+(1280x720)+(125 °)

Brown cable: rearview mirror control

Silent rearview camera (mirror image).

Cut Brown line → Front view camera (non mirrored)

You can also manually rotate the sphere angle by 90 ° to achieve the effect of a side camera

White line: Parking line control

The camera has a parking line/the camera does not display a parking line. You can cut the white cable and reconnect the camera power to change the parking line.
