Description

Muscle Does Not Respond to Persuasion. It Responds to Current.

The Myoelectric Forge is designed for the practitioner who understands a simple physiological truth: voluntary muscle contraction is limited by central nervous system fatigue, but electrically-evoked contraction is limited only by the power supply. When a client performs a crunch, the brain recruits approximately 40% of available motor units before fatigue signals override the motor command. When the Myoelectric Forge delivers a calibrated EMS pulse train, it recruits nearly 100% of motor units in the target muscle group — and sustains that recruitment for the duration of the treatment protocol.

The Myoelectric Forge pairs NEO RF heating with multi-channel EMS delivery across a suite of interchangeable electrode pads. The RF component operates at 2.45MHz, pre-warming the target tissue to increase blood flow, reduce electrical impedance, and improve EMS signal penetration. Once the tissue is conditioned, the EMS component delivers biphasic rectangular pulses at frequencies from 1Hz to 150Hz, with pulse widths adjustable from 100us to 400us. The practitioner selects a muscle group — rectus abdominis, gluteus maximus, quadriceps, biceps, triceps — and the machine auto-configures the electrode placement diagram, pulse frequency, and session duration.

What distinguishes the Myoelectric Forge from consumer-grade EMS belts is the clinical intent behind its design. Consumer devices operate at low frequencies with minimal current because they are legally constrained to avoid muscle damage in untrained users. The Myoelectric Forge is a professional instrument — it assumes the operator is trained, the client is screened, and the objective is supramaximal contraction for body recomposition. For clinics offering EMS-based body sculpting as an add-on to existing RF or cavitation services, the Myoelectric Forge completes the treatment spectrum from fat disruption to skin tightening to muscle building to sustained toning.

You can do 100 crunches and fatigue at 40. Or you can let the current do 100% of the work for 100% of the session.

Application Scenarios

The Myoelectric Forge fills a specific gap in the body-contouring treatment ladder: sustained muscle toning between high-intensity HIFEM sessions. Clinics offering Emsculpt-style treatments use the Myoelectric Forge for clients on a weekly maintenance schedule who no longer need full HIFEM sessions. Physical therapy and sports medicine practices use EMS mode for muscle re-education and post-injury rehabilitation. The portable form factor means a single device can serve treatment rooms, recovery zones, and even off-site pop-up events — the integrated carry handle and 12kg weight make it genuinely portable, not just technically movable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does EMS body sculpting differ from HIFEM?

A: HIFEM (like Emsculpt or the Aegis Field) delivers very high-intensity pulses — 20,000+ supramaximal contractions in 30 minutes. EMS delivers a broader range of intensities over longer session times (45-60 minutes). EMS is more versatile for toning and rehabilitation; HIFEM is optimized for dramatic muscle building in compressed protocols.

Q: Is EMS safe for all clients?

A: EMS is contraindicated for clients with pacemakers, implanted electronic devices, pregnancy, active cancer, epilepsy, and severe circulatory disorders. For all other clients, EMS is a well-established modality with decades of clinical use in physical therapy and sports medicine.

Q: How many sessions produce visible results?

A: Clients typically notice improved muscle tone after 4-6 sessions. Measurable circumferential reduction and definition improvement become apparent after 8-12 sessions. Results are proportional to session frequency — twice-weekly treatments produce faster, more durable outcomes.

Q: Can EMS replace exercise?

A: No — and we explicitly advise against positioning it that way. EMS is a supplement to voluntary exercise, not a replacement. It excels at targeting specific muscle groups that are difficult to activate through conventional training. Clients who combine EMS with resistance training see the best overall results.

Q: How often do the electrode pads need to be replaced?

A: Electrode pads are consumable items — expect to replace them after approximately 30-40 sessions. Replacement pads are available in bulk packs through our supply channel and are cross-compatible with most EMS platforms.

Q: Can multiple clients use the same electrode pads?

A: No. Electrode pads are single-client consumables for hygiene reasons. Each client should have a dedicated set of pads labeled with their name and stored in a sealed pouch.

Great for toning, wish electrode pads lasted longer

The Myoelectric Forge has become our most-booked treatment for clients who want muscle definition without the intensity (or cost) of HIFEM. The 45-minute EMS sessions are relaxing and clients enjoy the visible toning after 8-10 sessions. My only gripe is the electrode pads — they start losing adhesion after about 25 sessions rather than the claimed 30-40. We order replacements in bulk now. The machine itself is reliable and the touchscreen interface is intuitive enough that clients do not feel intimidated by it.

Used it for post-ACL rehab — excellent muscle re-education

I am a sports physiotherapist and bought the Myoelectric Forge primarily for muscle re-education in post-injury rehab. The 4 independent channels let me target quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and calves simultaneously. The biphasic waveform at 100-400us pulse width provides clean, comfortable contractions that patients tolerate well. The auto-configuring muscle-group presets save time during busy clinic hours. We have seen faster quadriceps reactivation in post-ACL patients compared to our old NMES unit.

Perfect maintenance device between HIFEM sessions

We use the Myoelectric Forge as the weekly maintenance option for clients who have completed their HIFEM protocol. The EMS intensity is strong enough to maintain muscle tone without the premium price point of full HIFEM sessions. The RF pre-warming function genuinely improves EMS signal penetration — we tested with and without it and the muscle engagement is visibly deeper with RF on. The portable form factor is a bonus; we can use it in any treatment room.
