Description
The Fitting Decides Whether the Room Is Finished. Basin brass in a wire-drawn gold finish does something chrome cannot. It softens the reflection, so the metal reads warm against stone and tile instead of cold and clinical. The Aurum Cascade is a concealed wall-mounted basin faucet machined from solid brass, with a round spout and a single handle carrying both temperature and flow.
Concealed means the mechanism disappears. The valve body sits behind the wall and only the spout and handle meet the room, which clears the deck for a slab basin with no tap drilling and no visible plumbing at the counter. That is the arrangement hotel bathrooms have used for years, and it is the reason a considered specification can cost less than rebuilding a vanity around a deck-mounted tap.
Brass and ceramic instead of alloy and rubber. The body is solid brass, which resists the dezincification that eventually pits cheaper alloy fittings, and the valve uses a ceramic plate spool rather than a rubber washer, so the handle keeps a defined action instead of developing a drip that cannot be tuned out. Hot and cold are mixed inside a single ceramic cartridge.
Sized to the wall it is going on. The spout is available at 150, 210 and 260 mm projections, which is the difference between clearing a shallow basin and reaching across a deep vessel. Match the projection to the basin depth and the water lands where it should instead of against the back of the bowl.
Nothing in a bathroom is touched more often than the tap, and nothing is replaced more reluctantly.

Where the Aurum Cascade Is Specified
It belongs in rooms where the counter should stay clear: a slab basin on a stone top, a hotel washstand, a cloakroom that has to look considered under a single downlight. Designers specify it because hiding the valve removes the visual clutter that makes a small bathroom look cheap. Owners choose it when replacing a deck-mounted tap on a vanity that was never drilled for one, and matching the spout projection to basin depth is the whole of the fitting exercise.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is a wire-drawn gold finish?
A: It is a brushed, directional gold finish that scatters light instead of mirroring it. That is why it reads warm rather than bright, and why it hides water spotting better than polished chrome.
Q: Can I fit it to an existing vanity?
A: It is a concealed wall-mounted fitting, so the supply pipes and valve body must be inside the wall. It suits a new installation or a wall that is already open.
Q: Is the body really brass?
A: Yes. The housing is solid brass, which resists the corrosion that eventually pits cheaper alloy fittings.
Q: Why does the ceramic valve matter?
A: A ceramic plate spool does not deform the way a rubber washer does, so the handle keeps a defined action and the tap does not develop a drip that cannot be adjusted out.
Q: Which spout projection do I need?
A: Match it to basin depth. Choose 150 mm for a shallow basin, 210 mm for a standard vessel, and 260 mm for a deep or wide one.
Q: Does it mix hot and cold?
A: Yes. Hot and cold are controlled and mixed through a single handle.
Q: Is it suitable for a hotel project?
A: It is specified for hotel and bathroom use. Send us the quantity and destination and we will confirm lead time and bulk terms.
