Description

Darkness Is Not Absence. It Is an Invitation — to Engineers Who Carry Their Own Sun.

Off-road terrain does not come with lighting infrastructure. The ridgeline at 2 AM, the trail repair in a canyon with zero ambient light, the job site that extends past sunset — these are not edge cases; they are the working conditions that define serious equipment. The 30W Cube LED Work Light is not a decorative accessory bracket-mounted for aesthetics. It is a purpose-built photon projector, delivering 5500K daylight-temperature illumination across a 180-degree flood pattern with a focused 30-degree spot core — a combo beam architecture that floods the periphery while punching through the center.

The housing tells you everything you need to know about intent. Die-cast aluminum, finned for passive thermal dissipation, IP68-sealed against water and dust ingress — this is an enclosure designed for environments that punish compromise. The 30W Osram-spec LED array operates at 12V–24V DC, pulling under 2.5 amps at full output, meaning it integrates cleanly into any automotive, marine, or off-grid electrical system without requiring a secondary battery or upgraded alternator.

Available in 33-inch, 39.5-inch, 46-inch, and 52-inch configurations with optional spot-only, flood-only, or combo beam patterns, the Cube platform scales from ATV pod lighting to full-size truck and heavy equipment illumination. The stainless steel mounting hardware and adjustable bracket support 360-degree rotational positioning — aim it where the work is, not where the bumper dictates.

When the sun clocks out, your equipment does not. Neither should your lighting.

Application Scenarios

The Cube LED Work Light platform is deployed wherever controlled, high-output illumination separates productivity from downtime. Off-road enthusiasts mount 33-inch and 39.5-inch bars on roof racks and bumpers for night trail runs and desert racing. Commercial fleets equip 46-inch and 52-inch configurations on heavy trucks and construction equipment for 24-hour job site operations. Marine operators leverage the IP68 corrosion resistance for deck lighting and docking illumination in saltwater environments. Agricultural equipment — tractors, combines, sprayers — benefits from the wide flood pattern during harvest season when the workday extends well past sunset. Emergency response vehicles use the spot-beam variants for scene lighting and search operations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does IP68 actually mean in practice for this light?

A: IP68 certification means the housing is fully dust-proof and can withstand continuous submersion beyond 1 meter depth. In practical terms: pressure-washing, river crossings, heavy rain, mud submersion — none of these compromise operation. The breather membrane equalizes pressure without allowing ingress.

Q: Do I need a wiring harness or relay?

A: The light draws under 2.5A at 12V, which is within the capacity of most factory auxiliary circuits. However, we recommend a dedicated fused relay harness for installations where the light will be operated continuously for extended periods, particularly on older vehicles.

Q: What is the difference between Spot, Flood, and Combo beams?

A: Spot concentrates light into a 30-degree cone for long-distance throw (ideal for highway driving and high-speed off-road). Flood disperses light over 180 degrees for peripheral coverage (ideal for work sites and slow-speed trails). Combo combines both — spot in the center row, flood on the outer rows — for a balanced pattern that works in most scenarios.

Q: Can I run multiple Cube lights on the same circuit?

A: Yes, with appropriate gauge wiring and a relay rated for the combined amperage. Two 30W units at 12V draw approximately 5A — well within a standard 30A automotive relay circuit. For 4+ units, we recommend a dedicated auxiliary fuse block.

Q: Is the mounting hardware included?

A: Yes. Each Cube light ships with 304 stainless steel side-mount brackets, M8 bolts, nylon lock nuts, and rubber vibration isolators. The brackets support 360-degree rotation for precise beam aiming.

Brighter than the $600 name-brand bar it replaced

I bought the 52-inch combo to replace a Rigid bar that got destroyed by a rock strike. Side-by-side comparison: the Cube throws a slightly wider flood pattern and the spot core is tighter — better distance visibility at 80+ mph desert speeds. At less than half the price of the name brand, I was expecting corners to be cut. The die-cast housing and IP68 seal say otherwise. Two race weekends in and it has outlived the Rigid already.

Construction site tested, foreman approved

We run four of the 46-inch bars on our night-shift excavator fleet. The 5500K daylight temperature makes a genuine difference in operator fatigue — no more yellow halogen eye strain after 10-hour shifts. The stainless brackets have survived six months of vibration and mud without loosening. Only suggestion: a wiring harness option would save custom fab time. We ended up building our own relay harnesses.

This light turns midnight into high noon

Mounted the 39.5-inch combo beam on my Tacoma's roof rack for a Baja trip and it was transformative. The spot core punches 300+ yards down the trail while the flood wings light up the shoulders so you can actually see what is 50 feet to either side — which is where the obstacles usually are. The IP68 rating is real: crossed a river crossing at hood depth and the light never flickered. Aluminum housing dissipates heat so well it runs cool to the touch after 4 hours continuous.
