Beschreibung

613 blonde is the most photographed shade in the trade and the least forgiving to fake. Every knot, every flyaway and every shade of brass shows up under daylight, which is why most units at this colour look like a wig from the back of a room. The Blonde Standard is a 613 bone straight unit in Brazilian Remy hair, built on invisible HD lace so the front edge blends rather than sits.

Bone straight means exactly what it says. The hair falls flat with no residual wave, which is the look that makes a long unit read as expensive, because the line from crown to ends stays unbroken. Lengths reach up to 42 inches, so there is enough hair to wear down, part deep, or pull into a low ponytail without the ends thinning out. The construction is half machine made and half hand tied, which balances an even density across the cap with a hand-finished front where it counts.

Two densities are offered. The 200 per cent version is the everyday choice, full enough to look substantial without weighing the head down, while 250 per cent is the volume you want for a styled finish or a shoot. The lace comes in dual 13x4 and 13x6 so you can choose the parting width, and the hair can be permed, which means a different texture is available later without a new unit. It is not listed as dye safe, and on a shade that has already been lifted this far, further chemical work is the fastest way to lose the hair you paid for.

Blonde does not hide anything. That is why it works.

What Makes A Blonde Unit Read As Real

  • ✦ Bone straight texture that stays flat and unbroken down the full length
  • ✦ Brazilian Remy hair with human hair content listed at 70 per cent or above
  • ✦ Invisible HD transparent lace, available as dual 13x4 and 13x6
  • ✦ 200 per cent density for everyday wear, 250 per cent for styled volume
  • ✦ Lengths up to 42 inches with density that holds to the ends
  • ✦ Half machine made and half hand tied, giving an even cap with a hand-finished front
  • ✦ Can be permed if you want to change the texture later

Who Buys A 613 Unit

This unit is bought by three groups. Stylists keep a 613 bone straight on the shelf because it is the fastest route to a dramatic colour change for a shoot, and the flat fall photographs without the stylist fighting it. Wearers who sit under lighting all day choose it because HD lace holds up under a ring light, where standard lace gives the hairline away. Then there are the people moving up to a very long length for the first time, who want a unit that proves length can look deliberate rather than heavy. All three come back to the same reason: at this colour, quality is visible from across the room.

Blonde Wig Questions

Q: Can I dye this wig?

It is not listed as suitable for dyeing. The hair has already been lifted to a 613 blonde, which is a high level, so any further colour work risks damage. A purple toning shampoo is the usual way to keep brassiness in check, and it is not the same as dyeing.

Q: Can the texture be changed?

Yes. The hair is listed as suitable for perming, so a stylist can give it body or a curl pattern if you want something other than bone straight.

Q: What is the difference between 200 and 250 per cent density?

Density is the amount of hair on the cap. At 200 per cent the unit looks full and natural, while 250 per cent has noticeably more volume and holds a styled shape longer.

Q: How long does the hair actually measure?

Length runs up to 42 inches measured from the top of the hair to the longest point when straight. A hand measurement can vary by one to three centimetres.

Q: Which lace should I pick?

Both are offered as dual 13x4 and 13x6. The 13x4 covers a side part, and the 13x6 adds two inches of depth for a middle part or a style worn off the face.

Q: Will the knots show against my scalp?

Between the HD transparent lace and the half hand tied front, the knots sit closer to the skin than standard lace allows. This matters most in daylight, which is the light this colour is judged in.

42 inches of actual hair

I was sceptical about the length at this price point, and it measured true. The 250 per cent density means the ends still look full rather than thinning out, and the HD lace is genuinely invisible against my scalp.

Bone straight really is straight

If you want a flat, clean fall this is exactly it. I had hoped to dye it slightly warmer and then read in the listing that it is not offered as dye safe, which is disappointing but at least honest rather than a surprise after the fact. As it comes, it is a very good blonde.

No brass, no drama

I have returned two blonde units because they went yellow within a week. This one has stayed true through six weeks of wear with nothing but a purple toning shampoo in between. The bone straight fall is unbroken from crown to ends, which is what makes it look expensive in photographs.
