Beschreibung

Length changes a silhouette before it changes a hairstyle. A 44 inch fall of bone straight hair alters how a person stands, how a neckline reads, how a photograph frames the face. That is the entire premise of the Cascade, and it is why the wig is built with a density scale rather than a single default: 220 percent for a natural drape, 250 percent for the heavier curtain that editorial work demands.
The construction is where a long wig is won or lost. Peruvian virgin hair at 10A grade with cuticle alignment holds a straight finish without the plastic sheen that coated hair develops under studio light. Swiss HD lace at 13x4 or 13x6 gives a transparent base that takes scalp tone, and a 360 HD option covers the full perimeter for updos where the back of the head becomes part of the look. The cap is half machine wefted and half hand tied, which keeps the crown flat enough to part anywhere without bulk.
Glueless wear matters more at this length than at any other. A 46 inch unit carries real weight, and adhesive that fails mid-day takes the whole install with it. The adjustable strap and comb system on this cap distributes that load across the occipital bone instead of pulling at the hairline. Bone straight also means the hair lies flat against the body, so any lift at the root reads immediately, which is why the cap sits snug rather than loose.
The maintenance rhythm is simple but it is not optional. Detangle from the ends upward before every wash, dry on a stand rather than flat, and keep heat below 350 degrees on the ends. Long lengths age from the tips first, so a quarterly trim of half an inch costs nothing visually and adds months of wear. Handled this way the unit holds shape through a full season of regular use.

Length is a decision. Keeping it healthy for a year is the discipline behind it.

Where It Belongs

The 40 inch and above lengths serve a specific client: editorial stylists building a look for a shoot, performers who need the hair to read from the back of a room, and individuals who have worn mid-length units for years and want the change that only length delivers. Shorter variants in the same family, from 16 to 28 inches, suit everyday wear where the bone straight finish reads as a sleek blowout rather than a statement. The 360 HD option is the one to choose when the style will be pinned up or braided at the back, because a 13x4 frontal leaves nothing to work with once the hair moves off the shoulders.

Questions Buyers Ask

Q: How is a glueless lace front different from a glued install?

A: A glueless unit relies on an adjustable strap, comb clips and a snug cap fit rather than adhesive. The trade is a slightly less seamless hairline in exchange for a install you can remove nightly, no solvent cleanup, and no risk of adhesive failure under the weight of a 44 inch length.

Q: Will the bone straight texture stay straight in humidity?

A: Peruvian virgin hair with intact cuticle holds a straight finish far better than processed hair, but no human hair stays glassy in high humidity without styling support. A light silicone free serum on the mid-lengths and a cool shot at the end of blow drying keeps the surface flat through most conditions.

Q: Can the wig be dyed to a blonde shade?

A: Yes. Virgin cuticle aligned hair lifts predictably, and full colour capability is one of the reasons to pay for virgin rather than processed hair. Lifting past a level 9 does weaken the cuticle at this length, so have a professional do it in stages rather than in one session.

Q: What density should I choose for a first long unit?

A: Take the 220 percent. At 40 inches and above, 250 percent adds weight that most first time wearers find tiring across a full day, and the heavier density also makes the hair sit further from the scalp. The 250 percent option is the right call when the unit is for photography or performance rather than daily wear.

Q: How do I stop a long unit from tangling at the nape?

A: Tangle at the nape comes from friction against fabric. Braid or band the hair loosely before sleep, use a satin pillowcase, and keep the nape section detangled daily rather than weekly. Detangling from the ends upward with a wide tooth comb prevents the knots from migrating up the length.

Q: Is the lace visible under direct light?

A: The HD Swiss lace is transparent rather than tinted, so it reads as scalp under most lighting. Very close flash photography can reveal lace texture on any HD unit. Tinting the knots lightly and keeping the hairline plucked rather than laser straight is the standard mitigation.

Q: How long will a 44 inch unit last?

A: Expect a full year of regular wear with disciplined care, and longer if the unit is worn part time. Long lengths age from the tips, so a half inch trim every three months keeps the ends from travelling upward. Store the unit on a stand rather than folded in a bag.

Bleached to a level 8 without drama

Had a professional lift it in two sessions and the cuticle held. The ends are still smooth three months on and I have only trimmed half an inch. Worth paying for virgin hair rather than fighting a processed unit.

Excellent unit, plan for the weight

The 46 inch at 250 percent is a lot of hair. Beautiful, but my first full day in it left my neck tired, so if you are buying for daily wear take the 220. Construction and finish are both excellent, no shedding at the crown after two washes.

Bone straight without the plastic shine

Virgin Peruvian hair behaves differently from the processed units I have bought before. It straightens glassy but still has movement, and there is no coating to wash out. The 13x6 lace is transparent enough that I stopped tinting the knots.

The length is real and it is heavy

Ordered the 44 inch in 250 density for a shoot and it read exactly as intended from across the room. The cap sits flat enough to part in three places. Glueless strap system held all day without any adhesive, which I did not expect at this weight.
