A PowerLink Gas Generator with a PowerLink engine successfully passes its first Energy Networks Association (ENA) G99 Test. Project is installed at a factory based in Leeds, offering 250KW power supply to facilitate main machineries and other electrical equipment. Any surplus power being produced will be going towards the grid, generating value to stakeholders.
G99 is a new engineering recommendation set by the ENA, building on the previous G59, which came into effect on 27 April 2019. All generating equipment that is connected to the DNO or IDNO must comply with the new requirements.
Passing the G99 witness test is a positive hands-up towards the PowerLink’s capability of meeting engineering recommendations, this means that we can now supply more generating units the UK for grid-connected project. Helping our clients to meet such requirements and being satisfied is what we like to offer!
